From a curious kid with a keyboard to building companies that matter
I'm Lavneet Sharma - a serial entrepreneur and full-stack engineer from Punjab, India. I've been writing code since I was 13, sold my first software at 17, and have since founded 4 startups with successful exits.
My defining chapter was leading engineering at ScoutIQ - building the platform that Amazon sellers relied on for 10 million product scans every week. When Threecolts acquired ScoutIQ in a multi-million dollar deal, I spent another 1.5 years integrating it into their suite of Amazon seller tools.
Today I run Ramarya Consultancy, building AI-driven products and custom MCP agents for enterprise clients. I also co-founded Beacons United, pioneering NFC-enabled wearable technology.

The Full Timeline
First Lines of Code
Discovered programming and fell in love with building things. While most peers were playing sports, I was teaching myself web development and desktop applications. The ability to create something from nothing was intoxicating.
First Software Sale
Built and sold a complete inventory management system to a local textile firm in Punjab. Their entire workflow was manual - ledger books, handwritten invoices. I automated everything. Getting paid for code was a revelation: this wasn't just a hobby, it was a career.
Engineering at Punjab Technical University
Enrolled in B.E. Computer Science at Punjab Technical University. Competed in coding competitions - placed 23rd in AMDOCS Code Mania 2013 among the country's best student programmers.
White Hat Hacking & Cybersecurity
Dove deep into reverse engineering, penetration testing, and vulnerability research. Explored the intricate world of cybersecurity, demonstrating skills by identifying vulnerabilities in international government systems through responsible disclosure.
Digital Forensics Analyst
Applied cybersecurity expertise professionally in digital forensics. Became a technical reviewer for Packt Publishing's "Learning iOS Forensics" book, providing expert analysis on iOS security architecture and data extraction methodologies.
Founded Corouter Solutions
Right out of college, founded a technology services company. Grew the team to 35+ employees including engineers, business development, and HR. Delivered enterprise projects for Mercedes Benz, Idea Telecommunications, and Lux. Exited the following year.
Raised $1M Seed - Professional Network
Co-founded another tech company with a vision for a professional networking platform for young talent - essentially LinkedIn for the youth market. Raised $1 million in seed funding. Spent 2 years learning hard lessons about product-market fit, user acquisition, and startup fundraising. Also dove into Deep Learning and AI during this period.
Lead Engineer at ScoutIQ
Joined ScoutIQ as Lead Technical Engineer, taking ownership of all technical operations. Architected the platform to process 10 million product scans weekly. Built the proprietary eScore algorithm and offline database with 9M+ items delivering sub-second results.
Founded PB35 Grocery
Simultaneously invested in and launched PB35 Grocery in Pathankot, Punjab. Built the React Native app, admin dashboard, and auto-pricing engine. Managed a 7-member team and achieved profitability within 18 months. Acquired in 2022.
ScoutIQ Acquired by Threecolts
ScoutIQ was acquired by Threecolts Inc. (UK) in a multi-million dollar deal. Continued for 1.5 years post-acquisition, integrating the platform into Seller 365 alongside RepriceIQ, PalletIQ, NuPrice, and Go2Lister.
Founded Ramarya Consultancy
Launched a product engineering consultancy specializing in AI-driven solutions. Architected and delivered 15+ production applications across commerce, real estate, and hospitality. Built custom MCP agents and RAG systems for enterprise clients generating $100M+ revenue.
Co-Founded Beacons United
Co-founded and acquired equity in MudLove, launching the Beacons product line: NFC-enabled clay bracelets with mobile and web apps. Secured contracts with US government organizations and built platforms including Beacon Pulse and Sources of Strength.
